Deir Yassin massacre by Zionist Itzel and Stern gang units. Caused general panic and exodus of Palestinian natives.

The former Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin terror gang (IZL or ETZEL) committed the famous massacre which resulted in the murder of 245 people, including more than 70 women and children. It is worth noting that 25 of the survivors were paraded in West Jerusalem as trophies, who later were brought back to Deir Yassin and murdered.

Deir Yasin inhabitants were completely ethnically cleansed. Many who survived the massacre ended up in refugee camps around Jerusalem and some in Amman, Jordan.

Thomas Hurndall shot close to Rafeh refugee camp, Gaza Strip, died January 2004.

He was a media student from Manchester University and he had previously served as human shield in Iraq. While touring the Gaza strip, he was shot in the act of trying to rescue a mother and children under fire from an Israeli tank.

Hurndall suffered brain damage beyond recovery and Dr Jihad Abud Daya who treated him at the European Hospital in Khan Yunis said he required surgery that could not be delivered in Gaza strip. Some Israeli reports claimed that Tom was shot at when carrying a gun but then again eyewitnesses and photographs on the spot make it clear that he was unarmed and wearing an orange vest.
