The world has been a witness to outrage for all these days. In the name of security Israel takes upon itself erasing entire villages and towns and murder civilians who flee from areas under attack. While the focus is set on Lebanon the occupation machinery keeps on wreaking havoc among the Palestinian people.

We hope that the marks of support to the Palestinian and Lebanese people and the criticisms to the racist and arrogant Israeli policies are for real. We long for a political community who would show itself courageous enough to say that this has lasted for too long.

If Hamas is not considered a valid partner because it fails to renounce violence and admit to Israel's right to exist, how on Earth dares the European Union uphold the economic cooperation agreements with Israel while it fails to renounce violence and admit the Palestinians' right to live in dignity?

The record of Nazi Germany ordeal means no moral pressure on us to firmly condemn a state and an ideology which have brought a new name for absolute evil. The word for it so far has been nazi or fascist, our children will certainly say Zionist.
